Arnold Harris have installed VFP9 on my new Windows 10 pc without a problem and without special preparation. Any knowledgeable and helpful advice will be greatly appreciated.
MICROSOFT VISUAL FOXPRO 9.0.ISO INSTALL
So we also want to know if we should be able to install VFP 9 Professional so it will run on that computer as well as our workstation computer with Windows 10. We also intend to replace another Windows Server 2003 platform with a new Dell PowerEdge Rackmount equipped with Windows Server 2012 R2 Foundation or Essentials. So what must we do to get VFP9 to install correctly on what is supposed to be Microsoft's latest and best operating system? We have read that other users have been able to correctly install VFP9 on Windows 10, but we do not know how they did it. So SQL-oriented remedies are utterly useless for us, along with programs such as Lianja, which can read VFP command programs but cannot create the.dbf files that we use in our everyday work, and for which we have spent many years in.prg development time? We cannot ditch VFP9, because we have hundreds of VFP program (.prg) files and 50 statewide and sub-state.dbf files, and because our key suppliers of large file data also use VFP files exclusively.

MICROSOFT VISUAL FOXPRO 9.0.ISO UPGRADE
Which means we cannot upgrade the old server to a modernized work station if we cannot use it to host our most important software tool. But we have been unable to install VFP9 on that machine. In order to test out installing VFP9 on Windows 10, we recently upgraded another of our office computers from Windows 7 to Windows 10.

We have an original Microsoft Visual FoxPro 9 Professional installation disk with a genuine product key, accompanied by a separate Windows 9 Service Pack 2 diskette.
